Sheikh Muhammad Rabiu Abdullahi, popularly known as Sheikh Rabiu Salafiya, is a Sunni scholar, jurist (Al-Faqih), exegete (Al-Mufassir), and a reviver (Al-Mujaddid).

He is humble, open-minded, friendly, accommodating, and God-fearing. Allah has blessed him with a golden voice, which he uses effectively in spreading the Sunnah within Minna and its environs, reaching even the outskirts. Despite his simplicity, he speaks about the Sunnah with clarity, presenting it as it is, anywhere and with anyone who seeks knowledge, and he does not compromise it for anyone.

Sheikh Rabiu is approachable and welcoming when you get close to him, yet his commitment to the truth and the Sunnah may appear intimidating from afar to those who do not know him well. He is a scholar who combines gentleness with firmness, humility with dignity, and knowledge with action. Through his efforts in teaching, da’wah, and counseling, he continues to guide many towards the path of the Sunnah and righteousness.

May Allah preserve him, increase him in knowledge and sincerity, and make his efforts a means of guidance for the Ummah.

Early years Bello was born in Rabah c. 1910 to the family of Mallam Ibrahim Bello. His father held the title of Sarkin Rabah.
